Association for the Propagation of the Faith (APF)

APF - the Association for the Propagation of the Faith was founded in Lyons in 1822 by an eighteen year old girl, Pauline Jaricot. 175 years on, the APF remains faithful to Pauline's vision: prayer and financial support for each and every mission territory. In England, St Joseph's Missionary Society (Mill Hill) and APF work together

In St Joseph's Epsom APF we have six dedicated Red Box Collectors who, convinced of the value of their work, collect the money twice a year. All the box holders are generous and they look forward to the personal contact with their Collectors. Over the last few years we have "lost" a few box holders and our low numbers are of concern, so we are always pleased to welcome new members (and Collectors).

At each of our collections we pass to the member box-holder the attractive "Mission Today" magazine and the liturgical calendar is a bonus! If you would like further information about the APF or would like a Box so that your loose change accumulates for the spread of the "Good News" to all nations, you can contact me via the Parish Office.
