Community Care
We
promote the spiritual and pastoral welfare of the sick, the
housebound, those in hospital or residential care, the elderly,
the divorced, the separated, those on their own, and help and
support the bereaved.
What activities do we carry out? Examples are
- New Year luncheon for housebound and senior citizens, and additional events
- Social and fund raising events including coffee mornings, brings and buy, and raffles such as Easter baskets and Christmas hampers
- Special mass for the sick, and visiting of the sick and elderly
The more help we can get, even if only for a short while on an occasional basis, then the more activities we can organise and the more support we can give. If you are able to participate then please contact the Parish Group Coordinator, the Parish Office or any member of your Parish Pastoral Council.
