Faith Development
We
promote opportunities for adults to be informed, trained and
developed in matters relating to
- church membership
- theology
- scripture and
- chatecetics
We also aim to
- promote faith sharing and prayer in small groups
- liaise with the deanery and diocese, and other churches in Epsom
- support the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults
Last year we had a very successful series of three talks on prayer, which were shared with other churches in Epsom and the deanery. Further speakers are planned. We are active in the Churches Together in Epsom and hosted the last AGM.
We are involved in the Dovecote Book Shop (a joint venture between Epsom churches), various prayer groups and a range of local or global ecumenical events.
If you would like to support or be involved in any of these activities, or just want to find out more, then please contact the Parish Group Coordinator, the Parish Office or any member of your Parish Pastoral Council.
Adult Formation and Education Opportunities
There are a variety of retreats, days of recollection and academic courses available. Please look in the narthex, both on the noticeboards and tables, for information which we have received.
We receive posters and literature from:
