Sacramental Preparation
The aims of this Parish Group are to:
- Ensure the training, support and resources for the sacraments of Baptism, First Reconciliation, First Communion, Confirmation, preparing both children and parents
- Continuous catechetics on Tuesdays open to all children and young people not attending catholic school
- Prepare couples for marriage
- Deanery programmes
- Diocesan days for catechetics
Other
activities we support include:
- Post-baptismal day in October planned
- Setting up a new 'Faith in the Family' programme for parents of first communicants
- New this year is the 'Landings' programme - for people returning to the church
We need people to get involved in this large range of activities, and the new activities which we'd like to offer.
