St Cuthman's quiet house
Worth Abbey Centre for Spirituality
St Cuthman's
The newly refurbished 'quiet house', taken over by the diocese
in 2000, opened to guests in October 2001 under a new name:
St Cuthmans (was the Coolham Pastoral Centre). This lovely
old house with its delightful chapel, lake and grounds provides
a wonderful venue for those seeking a few days away for rest,
reflection and informal retreat. The Centre is between Billingshurst
and the A24, on the A272 (south side) 800 yards east of Coolham
crossroads (the A272/B2139 intersection). Further details and
brochure available by the ringing the Centre on 01403 741220.
