ST JOSEPH'S CHILD PROTECTION POLICY

In line with central Church policy, St Joseph's Church has put in place a policy to provide the safest possible environment for the children and young people of this parish. Copies of the full policy are available from the Parish Office. This policy is open to development and if you have any suggestions or queries, please contact a Parish Child Protection Representative.

The policy aims at:

Parish Child Protection Representatives have been appointed to provide a contact point for anyone who wants to discuss any concerns they may have about the safety of any individual. It is however important that the whole parish community, including those that work with children and young people, should aim to provide a culture where children and young people feel secure to discuss their needs and concerns.

It is hoped that the attempts made are seen both to meet the paramount importance of protecting children and young adults, and to safeguard the integrity and wellbeing of those who give their time generously to support them.

If anyone, child or adult, has any concerns whatsoever about the safety of any child or young person, they should contact any of those listed below.
