St Joseph's Catholic Church

As you might imagine, our wonderful new church and its facilities were not created out of thin air but funded by hard cash - some of which we still have to raise. As of the summer of 2001 about £1m has been raised by the sale of the former church and hall site, approximately £800,000 has been raised from the parish and deanery by a variety of means:

• Legacies
• Donations
• Sponsorship of various items required for the church/facilities
• Annual Dinners
• Concerts and Shows
• Car Raffles
• Fr Bill's Sponsored Walk
• Auction of Promises
• Sales of Plants
• Flower Festival
• Coffee mornings
• Car boot sales
• Many other activities

If you can help in any way, please contact the Parish Office. For some of our parishioners who are unable to contribute towards the parish debt at this time, making a bequest to the parish is a way of helping and, of course, as a registered charity, you could reduce your liability for inheritance tax.
