1. Opening Prayers and Reflections - Theresa Kenefick.
2. Minutes of the last Meeting - Reviewed - no comments.
3. AOB - Brief update was given on Lenten Groups. Road Stewards had met to discuss in principle whether to continue or not. It was concluded that the Road Stewards were successful and would continue. Road Stewards would need to be set up on the new estate in Epsom. A parishioner had written complaining about the traffic/parking arrangements outside the school. This topic would be referred to the Premises Meeting to reply.
4. Finance Parish Group - The plan to target people to contribute to the parish debt by using gift aid for their contributions and request parishioners to increase their weekly offering would take place on 14, 28 and 31 March. Parishioners who have standing orders due to expire this year should be approached to renew and review their contribution.
5. Summer Parish Day - A discussion document outlining aims, organisation and activities for the Day was discussed. It was agreed that the complexity of the Day meant that detailed planning would be essential for the Day to be a success. Also it was agreed that Father Bill should be approached with a view to moving the date to 25 September. The preferred date in June meant that it was the Saturday before the school fair. This would mean that families would be involved on two consecutive Saturdays making it not ideal. The Steering Group would continue their work.
6. Social Parish Group Programme - A draft social programme was submitted. It was agreed that it was a splendid programme that some dates would be changed and the programme would be resubmitted.
7. Community Care Group Minutes - The Minutes were distributed to the meeting on an information basis.
8. Future Pastoral Planning - This item was deferred to the next Agenda.
9. A & B Resources and Courses - Booklets giving details of resources and courses provided by A & B was distributed to the meeting (to go to Parish Group Co-ordinators).
10. Other Parish Groups - The Youth Mass held once a month on Sunday at 6 pm had been successful so far. It was hoped to build on the present success.
11. Date of Next Meeting - Wednesday 24 March 2004 at 7.30 pm in the Parish Office.
12. Opening Prayers for the next Meeting - David Walsh
