Minutes of the Twenty Eighth Parish Pastoral Council
Held on Thursday 16th June at 7.30pm

Fire Safety/Security Action completed
SA Project Feedback still waited ongoing
Risk Assessment Premises Committee to discuss and report back regards the safety aspects of the baptismal font - ongoing.
Mary Liska was welcomed to the PPC,
Unfortunately Linda Prince was unable to attend.
Mary provided a comprehensive review of the work carried out by the group, acknowledged the existing support from parishioners, discussed the current committee resources and engaged the PPC in a discussion on support that would be appreciated by the group.
The PPC explored in discussion the following means of support
The PPC thanked Mary for the presentation and the work carried out by all the CCPG
4. Action Plans for medium and long term objectives
Community Care Group See item 3 above.
Justice and Peace Kathy Maskens has agreed to speak to the October PPC.
B. A&B News / The Winning Post
"Winning Post" ongoing actions. Target first publication date end September, possibly to be published quarterly.
"Concerts in Churches" 1st event was noted to achieve a reasonable attendance.
Ongoing item, Target speakers - the Bishop and Brother Christopher from Worth Abbey.
5. Welcome & Hospitality
PPC reviewed grouped ideas from previous meetings to be further developed
by individual Parish Groups.
10th July set as date for request for parishioners to join group. Use of posters & simple application form
Finalised date of meeting, 3rd July after 6.00 p.m. Mass.
