LINKS is a youth group for those young people from the parish who are making their confirmation or have made their confirmation.
LINKS gives them the opportunity to meet once a month currently to help reflect on their faith, have fun, share a meal and to catch up with old friends.
The aim of LINKS is to help support the young people of the parish who are making their confirmations or have made their confirmation especially as it is a big step.
We aim to provide the best guidance we can to help them and we also try and tailor LINKS to what the young people want it to be. If there is a particular issue or area they want to talk about we will do our best to programme it in to the schedule.
LINKS is run by Lisa Villacci and Chris Smyth. They are both well respected members of the parish and are looking forward to running the group.

LINKS is always on the look out for new members.
At present LINKS meet once every month - usually after the Sunday evening youth mass. Depending on numbers this year we might look at the possibility of increasing the meetings to once every fortnight with the second meeting always falling on the day of the youth mass.
LINKS usually meet as soon after the 6:00 mass as possible in the Chatterton room. We usually finish around 9:00.
There are no costs involved with LINKS. Hopefully if we generate enough interest we could plan to go out on group trips. We will obviously plan these in advance and do our best to keep the cost down as low as possible.
If any trips are arranged you will be given sufficient notice and a letter will be provided. We may require some parents to help with transport to and from the venues.
