This programme is widely used in many parishes throughout the Diocese. RCIA is both a learning and teaching programme that aims to help those who would like to know more about the Catholic Faith and who might like to engage in the process of becoming a Catholic.
There is a group of experienced and qualified catechists who present the course through weekly sessions. They currently meet on Wednesday evenings. The meetings are relaxed and informal. There is normally a presentation on some aspect of The Catholic Faith by a member of the team. This is followed by refreshments and a question and answer session, concluding with a time of prayer.
