In our diocese, the Diocese of Arundel and Brighton, children are required to celebrate the sacrament of Reconciliation (First Confession) prior to receiving First Holy Communion. For this reason our programme includes sessions for children and sessions for their parents so that God’s love for us can be experienced through this wonderful gift of forgiveness, pardon and peace.
