The Samuel Group

Are you aged 18-35?

Are you looking for direction in your life?

Are you faced with important decisions?

What is the Samuel Group?

In the Biblical story of Samuel, a young boy is called by God to become a great prophet. Samuel hears a voice in his sleep but needs help from his mentor, Eli, to understand what the call means, who it comes from and how he can respond.

God calls to each of us, inviting us to lives of service, commitment, purpose and love. We need support to be able to listen to and hear the call, interpret the call and offer a response to the call.

For some it may be a question of general direction in life e.g. what do I do next? For others it may be a desire to live life and faith more deeply. For others it may already have a specific focus around an area of work, voluntary service, an approach to a relationship or a call to the priesthood, diaconate or religious life.

How does it work?

Meeting once a month the group is an opportunity to explore scriptire using it to reflect on your own faith and life decisions and sharing with other young adults on a simular journey.

Where?

The lady Chapel at St Joseph's Church.

When?

The 3rd Wednesday of each month between 7:00pm and 9:30pm
